Name The Pet - London (PSL Video + Mp3)

So I came across this band from Stockholm called Name The Pet.  Apparently they are nominated for best new act at the Swedish Grammy's.  Their song/video for 'American Boy' is receiving a lot of attention in Europe.  Personally I think the song is crap! You can catch that video Here (tip: mute the audio).  What I am posting about Name The Pet, is one of their tracks titled 'London'.  There are two version.  The original and the PSL live version which is from the video above.  She has an awesome voice and the guy who is playing the keyboard has an awesome haircut.  Ha!  Enjoy!

Popular Damage is the collaborative project between Manchester-born Nadine Raihani and Stephan Hengst. We Have Band - Honeytrap (Video + Mp3)

Here is We Have Band's latest music video to their track 'Honeytrap' which will be off their album coming early 2010.  The video was directed by Price James and was shot during a trip they made to Dubai this past November.  As usual I have the track from the video above but Im also providing the Le Matos Remix.  Its super similar to the original but has that extra beat to make it pop'in.  If I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the remix.

Built around the cover's picture of Vitalic's album 'Flashmob', this video clip is an oniric and contemplative journey of a man recreating the 19th century experience of Etienne-Jules Marey on fluid dynamics.  Smoke lines represent the notion of stability, the triangle goes for the disturbance and incidentally for the V of Vitalic. The concept of a flashmob is illustrated here as a result of an intruder perturbating a stable environment.

I decided to find an upbeat remix of it to pump me up for tonight. I came across Steve Aoki's remix. Although Im not much of a fan, its still a good remix.  So Enjoy!

So there is a track titled 'Insects' by The XX circulating on the blog-o-sphere. The Mp3 is of poor quality so I'm gonna wait to get the CDQ Mp3 to post it. In the meantime, I have a cover The XX  did on 'Kyla's - Do You Mind' track. The XX take her funky dance anthem and brings it down to what we've come to expect from The XX.
