Brooklyn’s very own duo, CREEP are releasing their debut single on Young Turks on December 19, the track is titled ‘Days’ and it features The xx’s Romy Madley Croft. Below is the Azari & III Remix which takes the dark synth original and adds a little bit of life and depth.

The xx - Stars (LAZRtag Remix)

LA based LAZRtag just gave us their latest remix.  It's to the one-and-only, band of the year, The xx.  They took 'Stars' and did their thing.  Dopeness.  It's weird, cause I was beginning to get xx withdrawals.  Wait for the 1 minute mark where it really starts.  Get it below!

The xx - Islands [Official Video + Mp3 + Mash up]

Talk about applying their minimalist style into video form. The london trio, The xx just released their slightly repetitive music video for their track 'Islands'.  The whole thing seems repetitive until you realize the dancers miniscule change up.

The xx - Crystalised (Popular Damage Remix) [Assimilation]

Once again we have a Popular Damage exclusive. This time its their take on The xx, 'Crystalised' track. They manage to breach the brightly-colored-indie track and transform it into an electro-punk-pop classic. Pretty dope!

The xx - VCR (Video + Mp3 + Matthew Dear Remix)

So im just a couple days late on this but here it is anyways. Here is The xx latest video for their track 'VCR'.  In the video, a couple break into a room and destroy it.  Then they light it on fire.  The xx debut album 'XX' is probably one of the best albums I've listened to in a long time.  With that said, Im also providing the Matthew Dear remix.  Its definitely not better than the original but its worth a listen.

The XX - Do You Mind (Kyla Cover)

So there is a track titled 'Insects' by The XX circulating on the blog-o-sphere. The Mp3 is of poor quality so I'm gonna wait to get the CDQ Mp3 to post it. In the meantime, I have a cover The XX  did on 'Kyla's - Do You Mind' track. The XX take her funky dance anthem and brings it down to what we've come to expect from The XX.

The XX - Shelter (Them Jeans Remix)

So its Monday again! I have the perfect track to get this morning going. Here is a track from The XX of their album, 'XX' which was out this past August. Their entire album switches between male and female vocals. 'Shelter' focuses on Romy Madley Coft's strong, yet subtle, beautiful voice. Them Jeans takes 'Shelter', a down-tempo original and gives it an upbeat feel to it. Definitely an instant favorite.

The XX - Basic Space Astronomer Remix

British quartet The XX have taken the blogs by storm. This electropop track entitled 'Basic Space' is getting quite the buzz. Astronomer aka Alex Egan of Skull Juice has remixed this track by adding some bass, hanclaps, and synths making it a dancefloor essential.
