Girl Is Tough Release First EP

The dynamic duo that makes up Girl Is Tough, hailing from Hermosillo, Mexico has released their much anticipated EP, Key Transpose, Vol. 1.

Fans from across Mexico, USA, and Europe have been anxiously awaiting the release of this high energy electro dance filled EP and its our pleasure to share it with all of our MusiqTrend family.

We were able to catch up with the band a few days ago and they mentioned heading over to Sweden, Monterrey, and then making their return to Sunny California to do a few shows at what looks to be the Mucho Musica Latin Alternative concert series in both Los Angeles and San Diego.

We'll be sure to share those dates with you very soon. As for now download the EP and enjoy some spunky electronic tracks.

The Voluntary Butler Scheme is back with a new sound and a new four-track EP. The EP is a taster of the next Voluntary Butler Scheme album, which will be a mix of instrumental and vocal tracks. For someone with such wildly far-ranging influences and outputs, Jones bravely says his aim for the album is "to blend all the different types of music I've been making together." Here is a first little taster, brand new track 'To The Height of a Frisbee' remixed by Dan Le Sac.

The Kills - Satellite [Official Video + Mp3]

In the video for 'Satellite', Alison and Jamie hop into a vintage Rolls Royce and embark upon a road trip headed towards the faded, washed out glamour of the English coast. Vehicle collisions, dual personalities, and even a spot of fish and chips feature in this subtly disorientating, noir clip.

           So this past friday I went up to Hollywood for a friends birthday at 'The Colony'. This place is ridiculously awesome. Great vibe. Good crowd. BUT especially awesome music! I don't know the name of the dj who opened up that night but he played some good shit. (good music allll night actually).
          It wasn't your typical electro/top40 you've come to dread because of its abundance at every club. It was smooth jazzy with a sprinkle of gangster and a 'pop' cherry on top.....but to get to my point. When they played the track above after some CSS, Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Calvin Harris, I knew it was gonna be an awesome night. The track was a pivotal point of the night....lets just say the rest was history.
