Juan Maclean - Everybody Get Close

With DFA mainstay The Juan Maclean, you never know exactly what you’re going to get, but it’s reasonable to expect it will be unique and dancey as hell. “Everybody Get Close” sounds like it was assembled in an ’80s factory with mechanic vocals, squelch funk, rhythmic steam explosions and vocoder master Roger Troutman as acting foreman. It’s the title track of an upcoming digital rarities compilation, which comes November 8 via DFA.

Anyways this video was posted about 25 days ago but just yesterday i got an email with Cut Copy's remix of 'Happy House'.  Thanks to Rachel over at 'Punkdafunk', she states "...you should never try to repaint the Mona Lisa, but when a friend asks it's hard to say no....The Cut Copy boys had a bit of fun with this on a plane from Jakarta a few months back, and we thought you might enjoy it" So enjoy it!

"One day" will be the new single off The Juan Maclean's new album, "The Future Will Come" out April 14.  There are a couple remixes out there. Most notably by Surkin and James Curd.  I've listened to both and i think the original version is the best.
