Chicago-based Dj duo Moneypenny are releaising their music to the masses with this single 'Say No'. Moneypenny is made up of Jessica Gonyea (DJ A-Cup) and Chess Hubbard (DJ Mother Hubbard) after these two met they quickly learned they shared a passion for new wave, pop, indie, and electronic music. This led them to write and record original material.

So its Monday again! I have the perfect track to get this morning going. Here is a track from The XX of their album, 'XX' which was out this past August. Their entire album switches between male and female vocals. 'Shelter' focuses on Romy Madley Coft's strong, yet subtle, beautiful voice. Them Jeans takes 'Shelter', a down-tempo original and gives it an upbeat feel to it. Definitely an instant favorite.
Madrid is a the collaborative duo composed of Duncan Christie and Adam Perry. Madrid are ready to release their sophomore album titled 'Original Message' on YYZ Records. Here is their first single 'Reply'. Check it!

Here is track that is a little less intense then what i usually post. Its and indie-pop song. Its not too pop that you have to ignore it.....its indie enough to make it cool. HA! The song is titled 'All Yr Songs' which is by Diamond Rings. Its an okay track. eh.....actually not sure about this one though.

Here is an unreleased track from Frankmusik. The track 'Danciing In The Dark' did not make it into his album 'Complete Me'. But if you live in the US you wouldn't of known that since his album hasn't been released here! The rest of you take it as a bonus track. Ha!
British quartet The XX have taken the blogs by storm. This electropop track entitled 'Basic Space' is getting quite the buzz. Astronomer aka Alex Egan of Skull Juice has remixed this track by adding some bass, hanclaps, and synths making it a dancefloor essential.
The beautiful new collaboration from Themselves and WHY? (anticon records) gets the IAMXL remix touch. Both groups have shifted from their usual hip-hop style to this experimental track which conjures up thoughts of the Postal Service, Air, and Death Cab for Cutie. IAMXL drops in with a club re-touch that retains the downtempo nature of the original.
'Come Around' is a electropop song from the Australian duo Tim and Jean. Their popularity is slowly rising across Australia. Although fairly new and with only a couple of tracks produced we can only hope it spreads across into the states.
This remix is fantastic. Danger has been one of my favorite producers for quite some time now. Danger took We Are Scientist's track 'Chick lit' and made it awesome. Enjoy the remix which will definitely be a dance-floor banger. Thank you. Ha!

La Roux's 'I'm not your toy' has been out for a while. But i came across Data's remix mp3. Its the perfect song. Starts out by focusing on La Roux's Vocals before he drops in the beat. Pure genius. I know La Roux is allll over the blog-o-sphere. But how can she not be? Musiqtrend is definitely a fan!

Gunstar track 'The Dream Machine' is a well produced instrumental track. It definitely has influence from the early 80's nu disco/higher energy sound we love so much. This track makes me want to bring out my vinyls and start spinning on the one's and two's like the good ol' days before Serato came into play. Check the Mp3 below
