Young Empires - Against The Wall [Video + Mp3]

Young Empires are a Canadian music group that NME Magazine compared to the likes of The Killers, Arcade Fire, Yeasayer, The Rapture, and Foals. Defined by swirling synthesizer tones, soulful bass grooves, and funky guitar rhythms, Young Empires deliver dance tracks full of swagger, sexuality, and a little angst. Their track “Glory of the Night” will be featured on Kitsune’s Maison Compilation 10. In 2010, Young Empires performed at international showcases in London, New York, Bogota, and Toronto, and supported acts such as Jamiroquai, Dragonette, Sleigh Bells, Jamaica, We Have Band, !!! (Chk Chk Chk).

Crookers featuring Carli - Dr Gonzo Anthem (Sinden Remix)

Crookers is about to hit the road for a coast-to-coast U.S. tour, so in celebration, the Italian duo has let loose a remix EP to "Dr Gonzo Anthem." Here's a take by British producer Sinden. This one is all deep club exploration. Rhythms hit like pings on glass while synthesized tones jackhammer in the background and drums hit like crashing cars. Yes, it may sound weird, but these elements gel into an undeniable floor killer. Grab the full remix EP now via Southern Fried Records.
