Troumaca - Sanctify [Official Video + Mp3]
Troumaca release the video for Sanctify, taken off their new EP, The Gems out this December. Sanctify contains video footage taken by Geoff's (Troumaca) family in St Vincent and Troumaca.
Troumaca explains: “We wanted to show original footage of Troumaca, and portray birth, youth, adolescents, adulthood and the aged to convey the circle of life which comes through in the track. The Video ends with the head of the family, Gracie Sam, who was a key figure in the Troumaca village, and Geoff’s Nan. Before she died she told Geoff many stories of Troumaca village which in turn spurned ideas and conversation amongst us to create the birth and concept of Troumaca, the band.”
The band’s idea behind the visual and random memory journey is to invoke a sense of memory allowing viewers to think not only about their own families and but life in general as well. The band go on to add: “ We wanted to make them look into themselves and ask the question if they was to live for a while, what would they do differently and sacrifice?”
In the video, there is also footage of a car filming as the band drive through Layou in St Vincent. Troumaca’s upcoming dub is called Layou.

Little Dragon - Little Man (Tycho Remix)
"This remix of Little Dragon’s “Little Man” by Tycho is immediately intergalactic. Electronic drums go all kraut with a rapid robotic beat and singer Tukimi Nagano hovers over everything with soulful confidence. There’s oscillating arpeggios and dry choral backgrounds that add a gaseous element that makes you think the track is barely there. We assure you it is."

City of Satellites - Machine Is My Animal (Tin Manzano Remix) [Official Video]
Tin Manzano's re-working of the title track from City Of Satellites' debut album Machine Is My Animal weaves and loops the original's guitar hook amid electronic beats and surging, breathy textures. The result is a gorgeously seductive instrumental, in which restraint and space are as alluring as the sounds blooming across the stereo field. The track is accompanied by this gorgeous music video from Adelaide-based Studio Sunkie (director Nima Nabilirad and producer/colourist/editor Daniel Principe). The emotional resonance between sound and vision is completely compelling and the video’s mini-narrative is saturated in the kind of melancholic hope that the song exudes.
The track is taken from the forthcoming album Remixed, released on 27 October, which also features remixes by Manual, Slow Dancing Society, Jatun, M-13, Tim Koch and Syntaks
