Electro alchemists The Golden Filter just keep getting weirder. Their latest, “Shake,” wheezes static for a full minute before jackhammer synths slice in, accompanied by triangle tings and ritualistic cries. Then suddenly, we’re in wood sprite territory, overcome by ceremonial incantations, whispers and staccato beats. By the end, it’s all merged into a furious, asthmatic dance to the death. EPIC!
