Jermaine to Yolanda Be Cool:
What was a major turning point in career?
"Getting our music singed to Ajax's Sweat It Out label was pretty exciting as we were long time fans of his..."What have you maintained constant throughout your music career?
"A love for a diverse range of music...from hip-hop to techno to african. AND vodka :)"We No Speak Americano is such a hit, how amped do you get when you see the
crowd go crazy over it?
"Extremely amped! It's an amazing feeling to see a crowd go crazy over music you have made."Who thought of remixing the track? And how did the idea come up?
"Some very talented Dj girls on the same booking agency as us in Australia, Little Bambalam, they were playing the original in their sets and suggested we sample this...and we did!"How'd you come up with "Yolanda be cool"? Why?
"Well...first we were looking for a name and it's very hard to find one that's both cool (???), interesting and not taken. So the name is a reference to one of our favourite scene's in one of our favourite movies by one of our favourite directors...and it wasn't taken."
Jermaine to DCUP:
How did you and Yolanda Be Cool start working together?
"I did a remix of their debut single, "Afro Nuts". It was well received on aussie dancefloors so we decided to hit the studio together on something housier than my sound, and a bit more bouncier than theirs."How did the collaboration spark?
"We jumped in there wanting to create a track that we could play in our sets at any point, whether it was a 2pm sunday pool party, or a 4am club gig. We weren't even planning on releasing the track."How does it feel to see the crowd react when you perfrom "We No Speak Americano"
"When the crowd go twice as mental for a song you made, it feels pretty sweet."
On behalf of MusiqTrend, and myself, I would like to thank Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP for taking the time to answer a couple of our questions. Also, a big thanks to Sophia. Couldn't of done it without you!

As soon as he drops that track [3:12] you can hear the people going nuts! The video had to be cartoonized to make it tolerable to watch because it was so dark in that room.
